Kolkata Social honours heritage while exploring the depth and complexity of its flavours in new ways.

Led by Chef Ahana Dutt, born and raised in Kolkata and shaped by experience in Sydney’s most respected kitchens including Firedoor and Raja, the menu champions local producers and seasonal ingredients, brought to life through traditional techniques and time-honoured recipes.

More than a restaurant, it is also a space for training future talent, fostering a rare, nearly all female team and championing the development of women in hospitality.

Our Food

Ahana’s love for cooking was shaped in her mother’s kitchen, and her menu is a tribute to the dishes she grew up with, using heirloom family recipes and techniques learned in childhood.

From smoky, mustard oil kissed barramundi to spiced ricotta wrapped in banana leaves and the luxuriously rich egg dalna, every plate tells a story of heritage and home.
