Plate It Forward was created as a way to bring people together through food. What started with one restaurant has grown into a family of social enterprise venues - each one built on the belief that food can be a powerful force for change.

Founder, Shaun Christie-David describes it as creating a “conduit for cultural exchange, respect, and genuine human connection.”

Our venues are places of skill-building and support. We train and employ people often excluded from the job market, including refugees, people seeking asylum and those with disabilities.

Because many team members have experienced trauma or are new to the industry, our work takes patience, love, and long-term commitment - and that is exactly what we aim to provide.

We are not just offering jobs - we are creating pathways to brighter futures.
